Our ward building (which happens to be the stake center) burned last night! It's so weird to think that we were just there yesterday for our meetings, and today it's gone! It's also unbelievable that it all just burned so quickly! All that's left is exterior walls and the steeple that fell right into the building, but is still standing. It's unknown right now if it was arson, but you can read more about it here.

My name is Stephanie Klem (shamblin was my maiden name) and that was my ward building growing up. I was baptized there and my family still goes there. It was so sad to hear about it today when my mom called and it was so crazy that the steeple tilted to the side, but came back up. But a good thing is that they are going to rebuild it and put that steeple on the new building.
I am so sorry! That really breaks my heart, someone will have to pay for that one day...
Thats so sad. Sorry for your loss. Do they know if it was arson or not?

It is wierd, I always here how churches and temples don't burn. That they are always miraculously saved.
